What’s Your Story

What’s Your Story?

In the early 1990’s I hosted and then participated in my first U.M. ARMY mission experiences.  They were amazing experiences that fulfilled all of my expectations as a young youth director. Our group was able to provide service to many homeowners, we were able to grow spiritually, and right before my eyes, youth grew into leaders.

Over the years, I have been able to lead groups of various sizes to mission locations throughout Texas, Louisiana, Illinois, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Florida, Virginia, and Kentucky.  Each week and experience has been uniquely special.  I have seen the Lord move in miraculous ways and I have seen lives changed; lives of clients and lives of participants.  But, that it not the only thing that I can attest to.  The most important thing to me is that I have also experienced a move of God in my own life. U.M. ARMY has changed my life!  U.M. ARMY has changed the lives of my children!

Whether you have participated in one or many U.M. ARMY mission weeks, undoubtedly you have a story to tell!  What is your story? I want to encourage you to share your story and let others – ok, let everyone know what your story is.

This holiday season, I am thankful for you and your story!  I can’t wait to hear them.

Grace and Peace,

Brian Smith
